BACK PAIN

For those that have experienced back pain due to this...

What did it feel like?  Was it sharp or an annoying ache?

Where did you feel the pain... upper back, on the sides, by the shoulder blades, kidneys area, etc.?

Was the pain constant or did it come and go?

Thank You

  • Hi Harry300a5bc36,

As it's been a while since you posted your question & as yet there have been no replies, this response will put it back to the top of the list again.

As there can be many reasons for back pain, it will be helpful if you can give some background information about yourself which will help others with their replies.  For instance, have you already been diagnosed with PC or are you early on in your journey?  What your PSA results have been to date etc

    Best wishes

    Brian

  • Good suggestion... Will do.

  • As suggested by Buzzers, I'll add my experience.

I haven't been diagnosed with PC yet.

Both blood tests have come in high for PSA. I find out tomorrow how high.

I'm going to see the doctor tomorrow to get the numbers and speak with him.  I have my MRI next Friday.   Trying to it push up so I get the results sooner.

I've been having issues with back/hip aches..

Just a dull pain that doesn't last long...

The pain/discomfort travels perhaps from the left hip and then perhaps to the small of the back and maybe to the right hip area. There is no set pattern.  This morning I was pain free.   This evening it decided to come calling.  But it wasn't much...

I'm trying to tell myself that it can't be PC.  I just was relaxing on the couch in a wrong position...  But this pain/discomfort just a coincidence because I've been reading a lot about PC symptoms...

At the moment, I am perfectly fine...No issues But since I have other symptoms such as erectile dysfunction and constipation that all happened at the same timeThinking. I don't know..

I guess I will find out next week.

I'm just so tired from worrying...

Has it spread to my bones?   I am worried sick...

  • Hi

My OH thought his back pain was PC. When he got the results of the bone scan . He was told the back pain was due to age related degeneration and some type of injury ( he had a diving accident years ago when  a tank hit him on the lower back ) they told him he had arthritis in both knees, healed broken ribs , healed broken wrist and a dislocated right shoulder.

so please don’t overthink . Wait for your results and take it from there

hugs as we’ve been there and the waiting is the worse
