Hi all. I'm alex. I'm 53 years old. From belfast. I have just been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Gleason is 3+4=7 cpg 4. My last psa was 28.30. I'm booked in for a ct and whole body bone scan next week. I really don't understand much about theese scores. Any information would be much appreciated
Hello Alex (Ajmj)
Another welcome from me, I am pleased you have found your way from "New to the Community".
Here's a link to help you understand your Gleason Score - There should also be a TNM staging too,
Staging-and-grading-of-prostate-cancer.
PSA - is your Prostate Specific Antigen in your blood - and an elevated PSA can indicate Prostate Cancer.
I hope the above helps - good luck with your scans.
Feel free to ask any questions. however trivial, you will get answers.
Best wishes - Brian.
