Husband had his 6 biopsies done and had a bone scan on Wednesday . I contacted the specialist nurse (as we sat in traffic for hours trying to get home ). To ask for early morning appts as he seems to be exhausted . Think it’s just overwhelming as he’s actually never been in hospital . She said all appts are afternoons but IF he has to see the oncologist he can bee seen at the local hospital . So do you not automatically see a consultant ? We have lots of questions regarding optional treatment . As we believe if you have radiotherapy you cannot have the prostrate removed at a later time . Can anyone advise ? Had anyone used vitamins for the prostrate , were they any good ?
