Hi everyone.

MRI Tuesday, phone call Thursday stating highly suspicious 14mm area on right side of Prostate.

(Exact words now) it SEEMS like it’s not reached lymph or bones??

Biopsy will be done soonest. Going to be a strange Xmas. Trying to think positive.

  • Hello   A warm welcome to the online Prostate Cancer Community.

Well - I know just where you are with that on - 30 December 2021 full MRI and "it looks like it's not got your lymph nodes" and 12 months down the line just before Radiotherapy - "we will blast the lymph nodes just to be sure".

Anyway - it's not too bad by the sounds of things - enlarged Prostate, MRI done all you need is the biopsy and two/three weeks after that - full diagnosis and treatment plan - it's the worst part of the journey - waiting for test results and a treatment plan.

Personal opinion (I have been wrong before) it looks OK and you will be on some form of treatment or surgery but it doesn't look too bad - do you have a PSA reading to add to the information? Easy for me to say- enjoy Christmas and the New Year - get the biopsy over and done with and lets move onto the treatment stage.

If it's any help you can read my PCa journey by clicking the icon of the beach - It's got a happy ending although it's not quite over and I did have some complications on the way.

Positive thinking is half the battle - stick with us and we can help with the other half.

Any questions - however trivial you may think they are feel free to ask them - oh and welcome to the club!

    Best wishes - brian.
