I must say that's a great story 2 years RT and HT - a low PSA and you are done - that's great news and I wish you well with your recovery from the effects of the HT.

I do enjoy reading of cases where you have had - diagnosis - treatment - (with a view to being curative) and then end of treatment. I assume you will be having your PSA checked for the next 5 years - but happy days. I hope to be just where you are this time next year after 3 years HT !!

What a great result for you, I wish you all the best.

I went through 20 sessions of RT in February and March with an initial PSA of 14 but Gleason 9. I have another 4 decapeptyl injections to go (3 monthly) finish then next November so I'm a year behind you.

My last PSA was 0.05 and I am scheduled for 6 monthly PSA tests for another 7 years but that's a small price to pay.

As you say in your post - men best get checked.
