And nxt week get to know what treatment is , Opperation or the seed therapy etc , and worried about my hols in Cuba in two weeks time , thinking best to change it as don’t want to be poorly in Cuba

  • The only problem is insurance . Your cancer isn’t going to change in a fortnight . If your tumour is early ( they’re talking about surgery ) then you really need to check that your policy is still valid for all the other things that are much more likely ti give give you problems ( gastro enteritis , etc ) . Bill

  • Cancelled hol to Cuba , as got to know I can’t have an Opperation, can’t have the seed implant to prostrate to kill the cancer cells , my only other option is raidio therapy if my Crohn’s isn’t found to be active ! So in meantime I’m having the hormone therapy tabs and jabs , so no sun on my skin , ( I’m a builder and only wearing shorts last couple of weeks , reight laff , so I have my fingers toes eyes crossed

    Cheers , Jonny mac

  • Bummer . Since prostatectomy I’ve had to keep my legs tightly crossed , so you’re missing out on that one . You’ll have to listen to Buena Vista Social Club and drink Mojitos instead of going there .. Keep us in the loop . I’ve become morbidly interested in other peoples prostate cancers . I don’t know what I thought about before PC . Actually , I do know , but it’s a bit pointless even thinking about ‘ horizontal jogging ´ now . Good luck .

  • Hi Bill

That's the attitude - you need to lighten what can be an awful experience - I like your take on it.- sometimes I look on PC in the wrong light but having a positive attitude is half the battle.

    You take care.

    Best wishes
