  • Hi O-Kaos,

It looks like your husband has really been through the mill. You are in the right place for help and support. My husband has grade four metastasised pc and has been on hormone therapy for two years. His psa has started rising again so we are seeing his doctor tomorrow to see where we go from here. He has other health issues so not sure which other treatments he can have without too many more side effects.

You should see email notifications, (I think you have to set this up but not sure) when new posts arrive on this prostate cancer forum. You should soon get posts from other guys who have had similar treatments and also from supportive wives and partners.

    Best regards

    Gina

  • Hi

He has had lots of assorted treatments, I know about the effects chemo can have, like sepsis etc, has Radium 223 been offered, it helps with bone pain, trouble is it only late for nine to twelve months, unless they have improved it.

I can understand what your going through, my wife and carer, is on tenterhooks every time a letter comes through the door, or a new appointment is required.

    Stay Safe

    Joe

  • Sorry to read your story kaos, you have been through it. You have come to the right place here for support, everyone is lovely. I wish your husband all the best.

    Regards
