Feeling so scared at the moment. Husband saw gp and had a PSA test and it came back as 59. He then has MRI which showed a shadow on prostate so had a biopsy and bone scan now wait for results. All I keep doing is googling and then scaring myself silly. So glad I found this group as reading through has helped already
Hi Shar.
I see u have a couple of posts running.
Sorry to hear about your OH.
The thing to look for here , is the tumour contained within the gland because that makes everything easier.
You should know that when u get biopsy results and bone scan.
If u have more detail about what the MRI scan says then post back.
Your other post refers to Radiotherapy, probably a bit early to talk about that but generally RT relatively straightforward, no major issues.
Come back when you know more, fingers crossed that cancer hadn't spread, hopefully will be ok as PSA not massively high
Best wishes
Steve
Hi Shar
I have replied to your other post.
As Grundo (Steve) said, keep us posted with your husband's results and we will do our best to help.
Kind regards
Brian.
