Hello everyone.
Seems the wonderful people at this site have awarded me another badge, helping and assisting people who are new here, be it the men needing information, or their partner or family member who also requires information, or is very stressed about the situation.
Everyone on here does the same as I do, we all do our best to comfort and supply any knowledge we attain on our battles with this disease. I might and that’s a might be the longest sufferer with such high scores, on here, but low or high our objective is to give people peace of mind and welcome them here.
Stay safe

Joe - That's magic and long may it continue - you have my utmost admiration for what you are doing. Prostate Cancer is something that touches everyone here and it's only the sufferers, their family and friends and medical profession who understand the anguish and devastation it brings with it.
I first found this site by accident but the help, information and friendship I have received has been amazing. I am almost "cured" but my journey is not over, I like you aim to stick around and put back in what I have had out. It's great to know that there are many more like you on here (they know who they are) who selfishly put hours in helping people like me.
My best wishes go to you and all the others taking their own free time to help others in need.
Kind regards - Brian.

Hello Millibob
When diagnosed I trawled the net, looking for answers, I found a few in America ( still a member of them ) like the prostate cancer foundation, plus ones similar to this one.
Once going through my treatment I decided to help others of what to expect, I remember saying to the oncologist in 2016 just get me through Christmas ( my favourite time of year ) yet here I still am, knowing the stress my wife who’s my carer goes through daily, I reassure family and friends, these teams that help us are excellent.
Writing books is a bit of a pastime, but fun, I’m hoping for another year or two ( maybe ) so I can still give advice to all those frightened at what the future holds.
Stay safe

Hi Seamus47
You’re an active guy, sports where you can, unfortunately although I was very active I’m not so now. Plus you update on your profile, long may you still have a low PSA reading.
You have plenty of banter with our other members, that’s great, keep it going Thanks for the well done.
Stay safe
Joe
