Hi to everyone. Just been diagnosed with early prostate cancer. I was expecting it after having gone through the various stages of testing. Having hormonal treatment at the moment and radiotherapy later. Next step is a nuclear bone scan and then seeing the oncologist. I'm feeling fairly pragmatic and just hoping for a good outcome of course
Hello Monty.
Welcome to the group.
It would be helpful if you could put some details of your PC so you can get better advice from the group. You can read my profile for details of my journey.
Regards Peter
Hi Monty - Welcome - It's the place to be for help and advice and to be honest re-assurance. As Peter above says stick some figures up once you have your full diagnosis and that will help with advice, Again if you click on the icon of the beach you can read my journey so far.
I must say when I was going through diagnosis I was surprised to arrive at "The Department of Nuclear Medicine" for a bone scan - it did bring me down to earth a bit!!
Keep us up to date and best wishes
Brian.
