Hi all, I was told I had prostate cancer last September.  Luckily it was early, I had my prostate removed on 22nd December. Going to have a good look through the posts

  • Hi Brownbottl,

Hop you are recovering well from the surgery.  Grampy74 is right, they are a great bunch here, a good mixture of men and their wives posting.

  • Good Morning Brownbottle

Welcome -I hope  it's all going well for you on your journey. Agree with the two posters above, it's the place to be for PC!!! All questions answered here. Yes if you put your stats up it gives people a chance to give more help. Some of us have our entire journey recorded, if you click on Oludeniz Beach you can see mine.

Strange, as I am doing dry January because of my radiotherapy everyone on here is on about beer - yesterday it was Brown Ale, now Brownbottle turns up -  nothing personal!! I am off for another orange juice later!!!!!!

Good Luck with your journey - Kind Regards - Brian.

  • I'm leaving the broon ale alone for a while, staying dry till i hear my results on 6th Feb from UCLH. Brownbottle was my nickname in the RAF, and it stuck. I'm just having a cranberry juice

  • Cheers - I might try one later - it's more decadent than orange!

  • Hi Brownbottle, sorry I missed the 'e' at the end before.  Got my phone set to a big font so I can read it better.

Brian, just been to Oludeniz via your profile.

Ever thought of writing a book?

I'm a bit miffed, I never lost any hair from my underarms when everything started changing.

    Good thing for Mrs Millibob!!!

  • As long as you don't change your name to Cranberry.

  • Morning Steve

Going to post in "no specific topic" and let you know how Oludeniz became my avatar. Don't want to get in bother.

On topic - yes my body is now smooth as silk - no need for immac or whatever it was called. I read my radiotherapy may cause me to lose my pubic hair too!! I will be upset about that as I was ginger and that's the only bit showing ginger now!!

    Regards - Brian.

  • Suppose losing a few down there wouldn't have been so bad for me.
