Just joined this group, as I have been recently diagnosed with T2 Prostate cancer and I am starting my Raditherapy sessions at the Royal Marsden (Sutton). With all the pills I am taking, I am very fatigued - continuing and increasing my gym work.

Determined to beat this ‘bigger’!

  • hi just been told i got stage 4 prostate cancer can anyone tell me how bad that is please.

  • Hi

Not sure if you are on HT as well, but either way, keeping fit is a good idea - even more so if you are on HT.

    Regards

    Stuart

    Trying to get fit again!
  • Hi Steveck8, welcome to the group, if you touch my icon you can tead my profile I'm a T4

  • Hi Strveck8 & Ulls

Again, welcome to the group - I don't want to be outdone - I'm a T3 so you can read my profile as well. Just to confirm PC is quite different with each individual as our body reacts to the cancer. I am just starting RT and today is the first day I have felt tired, and it's only day 4!!

Good luck on your journey. Kind Regards - Brian.

  • Hi Millibob, your comment made my laugh, RT worked for me, I hope yours will be as successful.   All the best Ulls

  • Cheers Ulls. As you are aware, reading my comments and profile - this PC bugger isn't going to get the better of me and I take an active - almost humorous attitude to dealing with it. I personally feel once you have got over the initial shock of the diagnosis "take the bull by the horns" and meet it head on. I know we all have bad days but a bit of laughter can do nothing but help.

Back on the sunbed at 5.20!!Sunglasses.

    All the best - Brian.

  • Brian think of it as 1/5 completed.  After today it's 1/4 done.

  • Absolutely true in all respects

  • Hi GT, if you put some details about your diagnosis on you profile would be helpful, all the best Ulls
