Hi all
well I have a joined a club that I never really expected to. I was diagnosed with T2 prostrate cancer with a Gleason score of 3+4. This was off the back of a routine health check as I had no symptoms.
I had Robot assisted Radical Prostatectomy 5 weeks ago and recovery seems to be going well, I do have a small amount of urine leakage during the day and am totally ED, this I am finding hard to deal with and open to any advice on what I should be doing.

Si,
Welcome to the Prostate Cancer forum. It's easy to share in this forum, always someone else who has gone through the same thing.
I was Gleason 3+4(7) T2, Intermediate risk. This was in May 2021. I was unsuitable for surgery so I had the Hormones and Radiotherapy option.
Fast forward 13 months since my last Radiation session I am now in Remission (which was harder to take than the original diagnosis).
PSA levels are going up, nothing to worry about though 0.1 October 2022. I'll be happy if it continues at this rate.
Still got ED, so you are not the only one, luckily my libido has disappeared so I don't think about what I can't do (if you know what I mean).
Did you get any Viagra tablets from the hospital?
Counselling really helped me. Also I have joined a Prostate Cancer Support Group at my local Maggie's in Newcastle. That's great, nothing is taboo.
All the best with your recovery.
