Hi all,
I had my prostate removed nearly two years ago but unfortunately the cancer had already spread to my shoulder and top of my spine. After chemo I've been on hormone treatment which has not been to successful until lately when i swithced to a new med.
Anyway, i know i need to build up my fitness and stamina and would also like to lose some weight, I can sometimes get tired quite quickly and i ' know whether to try and join a gym if they'll have me or go to a personal trainer. Sometimes i can manage 18 holes of golf and other times i struggle to play 12 even on a flat course. Stairs and inclines tire me out very quickly.
Does anyone one have any suggestions for gradula keep fit and weight loss regimes that worked for them please.

There are 5 levels and you need a minimum of equipment and Laura will keep you right! I got a door bar to do the press-ups and pull-ups but you could use a chair. Some resistance bands are also great. I did them several times a week all through lockdown and, along with a lot of walking, they help to keep me sane.
Alternatively, see if there are any Macmillan Move More classes in your area. They are designed specifically for cancer patients to improve their movement. Also try your local Maggie's Centre as they might have an exercise class which you can attend.
