Hi everyone,

I’m a year on from a Radical Prostatectomy, initial recovery was good but now I ache throughout my body. Also now diagnosed with Peyronie’s disease which is really debilitating and quite depressing. Has anyone had treatment for this disease? Any advice or useful tips before I end up back in the operating theatre.

  • Hi Jonno, that's a build up of plaque, I've not had it but an acquaintance has he was given massage and stretching exercises and injections, All the best Ulls

    Hi Clive,

thanks for your reply about Peyronie’s. Did you have implants fitted at the time of the operation? My surgeon talking about this as an option. I must admit mine is quite bad and maybe that’s the answer. I was hoping after the open surgery I wouldn’t need another operation.

I’m grateful I’m in remission, must look on the bright side of life!

  • Hi Jonno,

I didn't have an implant as I wasn't offered one ,if it meant not shortenning my penes i would of deffinatly considered it and mine wasn't pretty ,could pee round corners :)

    Hi Aluna,

My Peyronie’s started after the operation, I think I’m going to require more surgery.
    Thanks for your note.
