Hi, just saying hello. After 3 years with the beast, I am now Gleason 9 metastatic castrate resistant, and undergoing palliative chemo. On only the second cycle, I've been staggered by the extent of the fatigue, and the variety of side effects, including feeling cold, finding it difficult to move(!), diarrhea, bruising, etc., and all manner of goodies. The first treatment seemed to go by fairly uneventully..Just wondered what your experience has been........I tend to go with what the medics advise, but there must come a point when you begin to wonder whether the treatment is worse than the disease (not that it really is)!!
I was dreading going on chemo but it seems to be working OK and on palliative too. However I'm going to get 3rd cycle next Tuesday and a similar thing happened a week before it being pains in my back hip area last time round. Its not as bad but you can tell thèes something going on. 1st 2 weeks have been fine on both occasions just like I say week 3 seems to flare up some pain.
