Hi, Diagnosed one year ago and had injected Decaptyl ever since.Due to start radiotherapy next month. I am 73 years old. Cancer has ruptured the prostrate and is only local Question: I have been experiencing sharp pain in upper left thigh and it causes me to limp.(had bone scan - clear). Apart from all the other side effects has anyone else suffered this?( I do not believe it is a groin strain.) thanks in advance.
Good Evening
I am in the same situation as you - hormone treatment (Decaptyl) alone and have an appointment with the oncologist to discuss radiotherapy at the end of the month.
I have had all the usual side effects of the hormone treatment but no pains (I am a 67 year old who could do with slimming a little!).
I am only Gleason 7 (4 +3) - my full details are on my profile if you click the icon next to my user name.
I hope this helps and you get yourself sorted.
Kind regards - Brian.
