Prostate symptoms

Hi

Just dropped in from the kidney forum. I had a radical nephrectomy 16 weeks ago.

I am now getting the classic symptom of prostate trouble ie a very stop stat urine flow. I am 67.

Should I be worried ? What should I do. ?

What are the tests for prostate if any ?

    See your doctor who does two things, first a prostate exam, ( not the nicest pleasure ) second is a blood test see what your PSA is. Don’t worry Prostate cancer is the slowest to grow.

  • Indeed Joeven that's the prostate test covered and totally agree. The PSA is checked through a blood test if you didn't know and the exam is not nice but needs to be done. Good luck!
