I have just joined the forum having had my prostrate removed on the 19th September, am more than happy to share my experience but am also interested to hear from people who have had their prostrate removed and what I can expect over the coming weeks
Hi - I had my prostate removed 23 Jun 2021. The procedure went well, with some bruising. I was told good advice when I had my procedure and I will share this with you. 'You will feel better than you are'. Rest and do not rush recovery. I started going for short walks and gradually increasing each month. Do not measure your recovery in days. Consider your progress each week. I used Tena for men to give confidence more than anything. After 3-6 months went commando and have been ever since. I am pleased to say I am fully continent. I wish you well in your recovery. If you need to ask any further questions please do not hesitate to reach out.. Regards Martin
