Hi all,
Just a quick hello to introduce myself and get a feel for the group and the services that are offered, also weather there is anything I can do to assist anyone else.
I was diagnosed with an aggressive prostate cancer in December 2020 and just completed my 37 days of radiotherapy May 2022.
I have complex health issues which includes; severely dyslexic with overlapping conditions, asthmatic, hay fever, prostate cancer side effects, mental health and well-being issues.
Meanwhile I'm trying to find a healthy fitness group for the over 60s in Lambeth to rebuild my physical strength.
I hope to be browsing some of your previous subjects as if there's anything else you saw or enjoyable, as if we can't laugh at ourselves we can't laugh at anything.
Regards,
Donald
Hi Donald
before covid, I used to go to the gym for an hour, it was a sports centre, so I suppose they might do that walking football thing, plus you meet people of all types of ages. To start me off McMillan set me up with that health for life pretty certain that’s not the right words, but for ten weeks you get to try it for free, being watched by an instructor who deals with people in our condition, ask McMillan they will give you the information.
Stay safe
Joe
