Hi Garfo sorry to see you on this site but welcome anyway, could've have surgery myself, but more info you can provide the better response you will get, as there are plenty of guy's that have gone through the same treatment.
agressive locally advanced cancer, went for the removal as only 54yrs old but was the best option, a shot of radio is probably needed as well 3 types of aggressive cancer down there,. Thank you
Hi Andrew, your scores are similar to mine, but I'm 20 year's older with other health problems, I was told removal not an option and put straight onto Decapeptyl injection, urologists said I had between 6 and 24 month's.
Transferred to oncology and given Enzalutamide tablets as well as the Decapeptyl, oncologist say no guarantees but others on same treatment still going after 10 years.

Garfo hope you are home and recovering well. It can be tough those first few days. I had a similiar gleason and they told me an aggressive cancer grade A. After many tests they could not find any spread and I had a prosectomy this January. I recovered well in all aspects but now I am underway with RT. I expected this after surgeon told me the tumour was 2 mm outside the pocket. Ive had further scans and now they say its a case of blasting some cells left over.
Ive worked throughout this year. Did the exercises and avoided alcohol and caffeine kept fit. this is the only advice I can give..
HI my names johnh reading you posting is almost identical to mine even down the heart problems . i was also put on Decapeptyl injections although i,m a lot older its a nasty shock. i learnt my fate 2 days before christmas 2 years ago imagine haveing to go home a nd tell the wife.
