I was diagnosed in 2017 with Locally Advanced Gleason 9. In 2018 had Brachytherapy, radiotherapy and Zoladex. The PSA started to increase very slowly - too slowly to detect over 3 years until it reached 0.6 (from 0.1)  my second PET Scan last August revealed that it had metastasized to my abdomen with a Rib Lesion so I joined the Advanced club!

I had been largely on a non-dairy diet since my first diagnosis but was happily eating meat , eggs and for a while anything as long as it was organic. Then since my diagnosis last August I have been on a full Whole Food Plant Based Diet .. as well as being put on Enzalutamide( + Zoladex). After the 1st month of the treatment my energy levels really increased and I started to feel a lot more energetic and have kept going .. every 2 months i am getting undetectable PSA (less than 0.01) and my last scan showed nothing in my Abdomen and no change to the Rib Lesion.

Cheers
