Following my first Prostap3 injectoin about 6 weeks ago, my emotions are completely screwed up. Not suicidal but dont know where to turn. Have any others experienced similar effects and which if any antidepressants made a difference.
I totally get where you're coming from, man. Prostap3 can really mess with your emotions—lowering testosterone like that throws everything off, and it's normal to feel like you're in a fog. You're not alone in this, and it’s good you're reaching out. I’ve been there too.
For me, Zoloft (Sertraline) has been a solid option. It took a little while for it to kick in, but once it did, it made a huge difference. The first couple of weeks were rough with side effects like nausea and dizziness, but that cleared up pretty quickly. After that, it helped me feel a lot more balanced—less anxiety, less emotional rollercoaster.
The key is to keep in touch with your doctor and find what works for you. And don't forget that it gets better, even if it doesn’t feel like it now. You're not alone in this, and it’s all about getting the right help.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
