Hi all,
I have recently been diagnosed with PC. The diagnosis came the day before I was starting immunotherapy for tumors in my left ureter and lymph nodes on the right hand side. Back in August / September I had to have my right kidney removed due to cancer.
I was not really showing any symptoms of PC, but during a blood test after my op I asked them to do a PSA test as well. This came back elevated and they took biopsies and they all came back positive for cancer.
Whilst I am on immunotherapy, I am having hormone therapy for the PC. I had a course of tablets, an injection which will need to be repeated 3 monthly, I am waiting for a Cat CT scan for which I will need to go to Plymouth.
Appropriately 24 years ago I beat Colon Cancer and I sure as hell want to beat this.
Best wishes to all
