Hello all. I have recently been diagnosed and am awaiting a bone scan to see if it has spread. All very scary.
Hi welcome to the group
It is a lonely time waiting for results but try to keep yourself occupied otherwise you will drive yourself crazy.
Have you been given any information yet? There are lots of knowledgeable people on here that will answer any questions you may have.
Keith
Thank you for the welcome. The consultant thinks that the cancer is contained within the prostate due to the low PCR level but it has a Gleason grade of 8 so I am hoping he is right. I have an allotment so I spend a lot time up there preparing for the spring. I have been given a load paperwork to look through, which is very helpful. I have been told what the process is going to be. I am quite positive about things, just a little apprehensive. Thank you, take care.
Hi
Welcome here we will try and help the best we can, being apprehensive is expected, positivity is a great thing, keeps you in the right frame of mind.
Once they have assessed you and a treatment is given, if your not sure about it ask us, someone has probably had the same and can help.
Stay safe
Joe
