Hiya, I no how u feel lovely, my husband had TP biopsy over 7 years ago, and from that found he had stage 4 Prostate cancer, been on therapy since then and still going strong, I was in pieces when they gave us the news but he was the strong one, his psi is 0.06 at the mo so as I say still going strong, anytime u wanna chat get in touch… x

I have recently been diognosed with prostate cancer , have had all the tests CT ,MRIi colonoscopy and biopsy and in my experience have found that each test was painless ,Your husband should,nt worry X 

I also have been diagnosed with T4 prostate which has spread to the rectum ,have been only yesterday been told I will be having on going hormone therapy ,followed by radiotherapy ,did your husband have the same ?x

My husband exactly the same spread to the rectum no operation possible but all is good and lots of help out there x

I was diagnosed in August and have had all the tests. To be honest the biopsy was a doddle, sharp clicks as they take the samples and slight discomfort for a day afterwards, I found the mri the worst due to the noise.

Until they complete the tests try not to worry too much, there are lots of treatments out now and you must remember not to read too much into what you see on the internet as all results are based on historic data and treatments are improving all the time.

I am currently  in the middle of my radiotherapy sessions and am on lifetime hormone treatment.

So no bleeding or after infections?

It will be fine I promise we are more emotional than the male species, hubby had no bleeding or infection after biopsy all was good x

Do the results take two weeks to come back?

He had MRI on 20th Dec . They messaged him Christmas Eve to say phone call on Thurs 30th .

Stupid me thought if it bad news they will tell him in person.

I know it’s probably down to Covid.
