Has anyone else noticed weight loss after radical prostatectomy? I have lost around a stone in the three weeks since the op.
I am probably eating less due to being less active during recovery but it still seems a lot.
Some loss would probably be beneficial in the grand scheme of things so I am not too worried at this stage.
Hi . I just dropped by and noticed you've not ad an answer to your post from the members here as yet. I'd have a word with your CNS just to be on the safe side.
My hubby didn't notice any weight loss after his brachytherapy for Prostate cancer but he lost a significant amount of weight this year due to being put on Co-codamol for his hip pain. He had problems with the tablets so put himself back on paracetamol which doesn't touch the sides. Thankfully he's down for a hip replacement on 19/11!
Hope you get an answer soon from the others here.
Hugs, B x
