Unexplained Weight Loss

Not medically trained but wonder what your HBA1C (Diabetic Blood Sugars) show? Personally I would be questioning the GP as to what's causing it. I doubt it's PCa related, but I have been wrong before.

It's a question for your GP to come up with an answer.

Hi Brian,

Bloods showed I am pre diabetic. HBA1C was 42. (Normal range 20-41).

Managed to get a cancellation appt with Urologist yesterday. He is ordering urgent CT scan with full contrast. Wait to see what that beholds!

Are you your normal self when it comes to knocking biscuits out of the barrel or eating your whole plated dinners or have you slowly become a picky eater which has caused your unexplained weight loss.

I recently went thru a similar weight loss but then, due to pain, was put on steroids, which changed everything. I became a hoover of all foods in the kitchen and now my weight is stable on my normal 12st weight.

what else is going on in your life that may have an influence on your weight?

You don’t need to tell us but it’s best you think on what’s happening inside before there’s a bigger problem.
