Hi folk,
Profile explains my prostate cancer journey via active surveillance. New issue is serious weight loss (10kg in 6 weeks). Had full blood tests. GP says she cannot make scan referrals so is writing to my Urologist (with no evidence that it's connected to my PC). PSA 6.6 and then 4.5 at retest. No back pain, other pains, stool test ok, no lumps or bumps appearing, no blood in urine.
Thoughts?
Hello NickNick101
Not medically trained but wonder what your HBA1C (Diabetic Blood Sugars) show? Personally I would be questioning the GP as to what's causing it. I doubt it's PCa related, but i have been wrong before.
It's a question for your GP to come up with an answer.
Do let us know how you get on.
Best wishes - Brian.
