Hi, my name is alias Rod the Mod.
I had a robot-assisted radical wide prostatectomy 30/12/24
I have regular blood checks every 3 months.
My latest readings are:
7/3/25 - 0.09
31/5/25 - 0.10
8/12/25 - 0.15
23/2/26 - 0.13
26/5/26 - 0.16
My next PSA test is in September, l have agreed with the Radiotherapy team that if the next reading has gone up
again then l will start Radiotherapy treatment, as l suffer with incontinence l am not looking forward to the side effects.
I have suffered since the operation with bad stomach pains, my doctor has put me on Mebeverine which at present has really helped me.
Can anyone enlighten me to this new method of Radiotherapy SABR which l saw on tv and available on the NHS.
It seems to be far more accurate and a lot fewer doses than the older method.
I am very anxious about my next step.
Kind regards
