Hi again,
my first post for a while. After PSA rising again early this year, after surgery in march last year, I have been on ADT for 5 months, finished 20 radiotherapy sessions 6 weeks ago and have just had my first consultation. PSA undetectable and consultant happy.
As I am having quite hefty ADT side effects (physical are ok and manageable, but emotionally I am a complete wreck), she agreed that as PSA is completely undetectable, I should stop ADT after 6 months
Happy about that as work and relationship are suffering.
Hopefully my next PSA and consultation in 6 months wI’ll be positive again.
Feeling a lot better again after my last miserable posts
Thanks again to everyone for being here!
Rob
Hello Rob (Fzh2p0 )
Thanks for the update - oh how I wish for an undetectable PSA - I wish you many more results like that.
I can understand the side effects of HT getting to you - they do affect everyone differently and I have had my "dark days" myself, Don't forget even though you have only had 6 months worth, they take some time to work out of your system.
I wish you well moving forward.
best wishes - Brian.
