My Anniversary

A cracking post - an amazing journey and I am sure the support of your wife has helped you through the last 10 years.

I wish you many more years in the sun and a happy 70th birthday when it comes. I am aware it's not your first rodeo with cancer and your positive attitude shines through in all your posts.

On a personal note thank you for sharing the Community Champions job - as the group gets busy it's great having you on board and I am sure the Lung Cancer group has benefited from your advice too.

Being quite new on here I have found your posts very supportive, and your "journey" ( oh how that word is so overused!!) very inspiring.

I wish you all the very best on celebrating your anniversary and your upcoming milestone birthday.

I had a month in Texas a couple of years back and thoroughly enjoyed my time there - enjoy Arizona!!

Hi excavator.

I have done several road trips around the SW of the USA & always had a brilliant time in Arizona which is an amazing state.  I'm sure you will celebrate your 70th in style whilst in Tucson.

Tucson is a firm favourite, having first visited about 35 or so years ago and we feel very much at home there.

Because I was born late July it's monsoon season when we're so it will be hot and probably some spectacular if brief thunderstorms which will liven things up a bit.

In the meantime keeping my fingers crosed for 12 weekly PSA and other bood tests shortly before we set off.
