Hi all,
I’m 13 months in post RALP and I’ve noticed that my urine flow is not as strong as it was immediately after my prostrate removal. My flow was extremely strong following my procedure I could have knocked a Gnome off the edge of a wall at 10 paces but now don’t think I could disturb a leaf at 3 paces.
I’m in no discomfort and my flow is still greater than it was pre RALP just these days I just have to make sure I’m over the pan to avoid any spillages on to the floor.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Clive
I have been very fortunate as not leaked or had a mishap since the day after my catheter was taken out. I just feel my flow not as strong as it was but I do have the occasional day when it is strong. I’ll mention it on my next check up in September, and see what they say.
Hi Teulu,
I am nearly 2 years post op and I would say that that your experience match mine. Initially the flow was epic, but over time it has settled to what I would call normal. It's not impressive and yes I do need to be careful or drops will fall where I don't want them. I think you have nothing to worry about. However, I am not a doctor or medical professional.
