After too long I have finally started a two pronged attack on the surgeon who didnt think me worthy of fully reading a hisgology report and therefor missed the possibility of prostatic metastases. I did this not only for me but for other patients who may be subject to substandard care. Lets hope the hospital trust and or the GMC take my concerns seriously.

  • Hi, AI985 hope this message finds you well.

So sorry for your diagnosis and such poor treatment within the medical field.

My parent was also looked at as unworthy of a Neurosurgeon Spinal Specialist, making my parent aware of her spinal metasses that were right in front of him.

He has since sent a letter stating he did not think it was the right time as a top Spinal specialist of this country.

It was then missed until 4 months later of pain and suffering of my Mum, she asked another consultant for a second MRI scan, which was high alert MSCC spinal cord compression tumor which was then too late to remove and operate with it being highly rapidly progressive.

My Mum was given 1 year survival rate and tablet form life chemotherapy.

This is serious medical negligence and breech of duty care standards.

May i ask what process did you follow to share your below standard care of duty treatment at this time?

i would be very grateful of any response and hope you are doing as well as possible at this time.

    Kindest regards
