Hi, my husband is in hospital having been treated for an infection. He has advanced metastatic prostate cancer, bones, spinal cord compression and lymphoma. Doctors were on top of things, infection gone, oxygen levels ok, about to start discharge plan when I noticed that my husband was having some difficulty breathing. I told nurses who did all the usual observations and discovered he had a fever. Now being told he has flu. Back on oxygen, antibiotics and all the muscle tremors he had before are back. Discharge planning is on hold. Chest x ray results to be revealed in the morning. I went with him for x rays and even to me the x rays didn’t look good….fuzzy images filling two thirds of one lung and half of the other. Feeling so sad and extremely worried for my beloved husband.
Hello Teatowel,
I'm very sorry indeed to hear the latest problem your husband is experiencing.
My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. Please be sure to look after yourself too as much as you can.
With my very best wishes,
Derek.
