My OH had a bowel screening at the end of last year and was referred for a colonoscopy. He had polyps some removed and ok but a 25 mm was found so referred to specialist for removal but biopsies taken.
in on Wednesday and removed but consultant told us 1st lot of biopsies came back in conclusive but she is more than certain it’s cancerous but she thinks the stalk of it was ok . So having an urgent CT scan and she will phone to advise of results. She did say not PC related.
so just another knock down to contend with
we feel we are right back to how we were two years ago .

Hello Liz (johnam)
Not what you want, BUT he's being looked after. I am not medically trained but if the stalk of the polyp isn't cancerous than surely it's not spread anywhere. Let's hope for some positive results from the CT Scan.
I am on 3 yearly colonoscopies and was due one last April. I thought I had escaped the pleasure until yesterday when an appointment for mid February popped up! At least they are looking after me.
Try and stay positive and keep us up to date with the results.
Thinking about you both.
Kind Regards - Brian.
