Good morning all , well I honestly thought after dads MRI yesterday my phone would of been blowing up by now and they would be wanting to admit him , this morning I woke up and there isn’t even one call , I’m sorting dads prostap injection today so the district nurse can come and give him that this week , and I’m waiting by the phone for some news and answers , what gets me is how they can leave someone so poorly and in pain I don’t understand it , I no he’s had his mri now it’s done but I was expecting bad news this morning from seeing how I’ll he is

he has had marmalade on toast this morning and a drink but it still doesn’t give us answers or anything moving forward treatment wise

so today’s a new day … I would like to wish each and everyone of you a happy new year and all the heath and strength for 2026 , I hope me and dad have some good news in 2026

Chloe and dad xx

  • All I can do is add my hope to yours for some good news as soon as possible.

    Take care of yourself.

    Dave.

  • Hi Chloe & Dad

I hope you get answers soon . On a positive note your dad did go yesterday. So his information is on the system for someone to review. If you’re struggling call the consultant’s secretary you should get it via the hospital.

Your dad is on Prostap and that itself will be working its magic. The next step in the plan will give you a clearer picture of what next .

May you have a better 2026 with your family

    Best wishes

    Liz & OH xx

  • Hi Liz it’s funny you should say that because his consultant said that the prostap is no longer for dad but yet I still have to get his prescription maybe it’s until we have a plan of action … something isn’t working ! We no that for sure

I no the secretary now by first name , I rang her yesterday she said she was going to make a note I had rang and let me no when she hears anything x

  • It’s great news Chloe, that you and your mum managed to get dad to have the MRI. The results can take a little time to come out though, usually the results are first discussed by a number of specialists in a meeting, which can take some days to happen. Also good to hear he’s eating a bit more. Is there a chair close to his bed which he can maybe sit in, if he’s comfortable enough to do that? My best wishes for 2026 to the three of you!
