Hello Everyone
I would just like to congratulate Derek (excavator) on completing his Community Champion training and joining the "Champs Team" here on the Community.
I am sure you will all join me in wishing him well in his role as a volunteer here at Macmillan. He will be spending his time between us, the Lung Cancer group and the Travel Insurance Group.

I've a lot to learn and hope I can help out a little more across the prostate, lung and travel insurance communities. I've had direct treatment exposure to the first two and, having been an insurance professional all my working life, know a thing or two about how the insurance industry works.
As far as this great community is concerned my experience of having chemotherapy and embarking on triplet therapy last year does, I hope, bring something useful to proceedings.
I'm looking forward to it.
