Feeling good

Husband was diagnosed April 23 and waiting for PSA rates has never been easy. He takes it in his stride but I am a nervous wreck every time. Blood test this morning and nurse rang this afternoon. His PSA remains undetected at less than 0.03 and other results perfect. To anyone starting on this journey it is scary but the doctors now have so many tools in their toolbox so hopefully this can give you some comfort and hope.Life has changed slightly but we have been lucky as he sailed through chemo with no side effects and he tolerates the daralutamide and 3 monthly injections really well. We still live Life to the full and go on lots of cruises and holidays enjoying our time together so much

Good luck to all of you where ever you are on your journey.

  • Sorry my post has multiplied 3 times any idea how to get rid of 2 of them.

  • Hello

    Duplicate posts removed as requested!

Great news about the PSA and long may it continue. So pleased to know everything is going to plan - more cruises = more new shoes, handbags and dresses?? (He must have a good job!!Joy)

    Best wishes - Brian.

  • I have just read your bio too, and thank you so much. We are just at the start and this is so encouraging to hear.

  • Brian can you believe this. I packed one of the cases with 9 pairs of high heels ready for our 19 night cruise and the next day broke my big toe.  Eeek toe so swollen so shoes wouldn't fit. Then had to wear a flat pair which meant my dresses were too long. Husband said he has never had so much room in the case and it got him out of dancing on the ship. We got back Friday after a great time. Hope you are doing ok

  • Ha Ha Ha

Well - you won't need to buy any for the next cruise now! I trust your toe is ok now and the next cruise is booked.

I am Ok - I am back on HT - possibly lifelong with "holidays" included as I have rising PSA - however mentally and physically I feel great. I know what HT is like - I have had 3 years of it and I trust my team.

    Best wishes - Brian.
