Breast tenderness

Breast swelling, growth and tenderness are all known side effects of Hormone Therapy. 

Although I was not on Prostap (I was on Decapeptyl) I have grown a nice pair of moobs and although they don't bother me and are just side effects - they to me are just part of the treatment!

The cause is the change in your hormones and if you speak to your team or GP they should be able to prescribe mediation to ease the swelling and any tenderness (I think it's usually Tamoxifen).

Hi Masrat , I had breast swelling and tenderness in the first couple of years of being on Zoladex.  It was uncomfortable to run and jump and my wife suggested I get a sports bra!  After another few years the tenderness seemed to go (but I still have the moobs).  My only slight concern is why have you only got it on one side?  I would mention it to my team at the next meeting and if you aren’t seeing them soon, maybe chat to your cancer nurse.
