Hello Liz

Yes I know what you mean it's annoying to say the least.

We are in Linlithgow in a property from Cottages which is an old gatehouse for one of the local manor houses. We had an amazing time at the tattoo an Saturday Evening (including a sing song on the train home with the locals!!). Sunday we walked for miles in the Country park at the top of our road. Today we were out early doors, A trip on the Falkirk Wheel and then a visit to see The Kelpies. Wednesday it's Leith to see Britannia, I think tomorrow and Thursday we are staying local - Linlithgow Palace and the Church.

I must say credit to all the locals we have met - they are all amazing people. It's just a shame the pub had to change it's name to The Willow Tree!! (I love the old name!!).

We will be back!!

Shame I didnt know you're there, would have said hello,  I was in Linlithgow and the Tattoo over the weekend too! what an amazing event.

Yes the old name was very apt but it is what it is . Enjoy the rest of your break .
