Hello everyone, our profile is updated with all relevant information.....CT scan 10 days ago.....today we have received a letter for a telephone appt with Urology Nurse Prostate Team.....we are in Scotland, anyone know what this will be for? During our appt with Urologist he said we wouldn't see him again and following scan results it would be Oncology who would follow us up after their MDT. Paul will be in Paris with his son so I won't be there for this appt as its on Wednesday.
Letter does actually say we can have this appt face to face, same date and time, wondering if they remembered Paul was going to be away.....curious to know what the appt will be to discuss though, so we can prepare to an extent, hopefully Paul will be able to record the telephone conversation.
Hi Polly1912 , I can only assume it is to talk through next steps. Usually a biopsy first but maybe they have decided not to do one as knowing a Gleason score isn’t really going to change anything at this stage. If the CT is showing where it is, perhaps they will suggest going straight to treatment.
Best wishes, David
