Transperineal prostrate biopsies

After a prostate biopsy you can expect blood in your urine and semen. It should only be a minor amount and should resolve it's self in a couple of weeks.

If you consider it to be heavy bleeding or it's persistent you need to call 111 for advice or contact your local A & E.

I had it for over 2 weeks and usually when straining, so a good fibre diet is needed to assist! It cleared up by week 4 I recall
