Sorry for not being as active on here as previous, especially when you were all so helpful to me when I needed it. We have had a busy few months with a lovely cruise. Sadly husbands dad has just been diagnosed with cancer, not prostate, so we are trying to support them. Husband has his Psa blood test tomorrow so I am always on tender hooks until we get the results. It is just 2 years since he was diagnosed and continues to do so well. I will try and look in here everyday.

  • Good Morning Shar (

No need to apologise but any support you can give is much appreciated, especially as you have "been there done that".

I am so sorry to read about your father in law. If you let me know the type of cancer (private message if you wish) i can give you a link to the specific group and the Community Champion covering the group. Don't forget the Support Line is there for all the family. If i can do anything for you just let me know.

I hope you had a fantastic cruise.

    Kind Regards - Brian.

  • Hi Shar. Sorry to hear about your father in law and I hope you get the same support on the appropriate forum. Why are you apologising. You offer great support to others and I think it is great that you have been able to live life after diagnosis. Let us know the results of tomorrows PSA. Don't forget to look after yourself and look forward to the next time you can wear those sparkly shoes.

  • Sparkly shoes will be out on Cunard in July. I have just looked on my wardrobe and although I have 35 cruise dresses to choose from I think a few more are needed so just ordered 4 more. Just hope the sparkly shoes match or I could then be shoe hunting, then handbag hunting. Life is never easy lol

  • Thank you. How do I send a private message

  • Think I have just worked out

  • That's some humungous wardrobe you have there Shar if it takes 39 cruise dresses Cruise ship

  • Hi  - no need to apologise.  Mrs AW and I have just returned from a brilliant week in the Pyrenees- had no time to check in here either.  But I’m back now !  AW

  • Husbands clothes are in a carrier bag under the bed, but I do let him put his tuxedo and bow tie in my wardrobe
