Bad itching end of penis

Hi , it could be a reaction to the drug . If you have a contact at the cancer centre call and just check . If not contact your GP or out of hours and make sure it’s on your take.  I’m not medically trained but I would always check .

Hi Lock . The itching could be as a result of the radiotherapy treatment such as cystitis or a urine infection so get it checked out as there are treatments. If the itching is happening on an intermittent basis after taking Tamsulosin then it is more likely to be a reaction to the drug. Also make sure that you are drinking plenty. I hope you get it sorted soon.

Welcome to the group, although I am so sorry to find you joining us.

I use Tamsulosin and sad as I am have just re-read the PIL (Patient Information Leaflet) and what you have described is not one of the  side effects (even rare side effects).

In view of this I think you need to contact whoever prescribe the medication (your GP or Team) and let them know of this specific side effect. I am NOT medically trained but it could be a medication clash.
