Hi all well I have my biopsy results and I do have pc , thankfully it's confined to the prostate and my consultant says she will cure it, in her words it's a journey but I will get through it.i have tablets for a month and will.have injections followed by radiotherapy she said there was not a desperate rush to get that done ,I have to say Stamford and Peterborough hospitals have been superb Dr Sharr spent 30 minutes with me yesterday and explained things really well and put my mind at ease
Hello Mace
Well at least you have an answer now and that should put your mind at ease. Did she say for how long you would be on Hormone therapy for?
Best wishes - Brian.

Hello Mace
Ah fair enough. At some point i am sure the hospital will send your biopsy results out to you -t would help us to help you if you could let us have the Gleason Score and staging or TNM score.
For now don't worry about it and celebrate with a small glass of something .
Best wishes - Brian.

Hello Mace, well you probably didn’t want to hear the ‘C’ word but I think it was accompanied by some very positive words - ‘she will cure it’! It sounds like you have a brilliant consultant! We had the choice of Leicester or Peterborough. We chose Leicester and I think that was not a good choice :( urology there was dreadful although oncology was brilliant.
I hope all goes well for you !
Thank you yes I am at Stamford and Peterborough both fantastic
