Hubby had his robotic radical prostatectomy last friday. His one surgical wound (not drain site) has been leaking a fair bit of straw coloured fluid - which i know is normal. But too much. Went to urology yday and been prescribed antibiotics. The area around the wound has become more red and noticeably swollen on that side of his abdomen. My worry is. Will it need draining. Or can the antibiotics treat this!! Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks (over anxious panicking wife!)
