Just come off Zoladex after a year. Gained a fair bit of weight. How long before this starts to drop off. I understand that the the hot flushes can persist for some time? These have been quite bad. Enough to wake me up at night!!
Over the next year you will see the side effects gradually lessen. as a rule of thumb my Rad.onc specialist told me that it can take the length of time you have been on them again to see the side effects go. He was right. I had been on HT for 9 months and by the end of the following 9 months there were hardly any noticeable side effects - if any and definitely before a year was up I was back to "normal" with no side effects.
