Hi Folks
After a very stressful 7 weeks with a catheter in and three hospital stays and various problems it finally stopped bleeding about a week ago and I had a cystogram scan today and they said that it has healed. And I can go back tomorrow and have the Catheter removed .. I can't tell you how happy I am .. I shall go tomorrow with a happy heart and a long list of questions for the experts
I'd like to thank everyone who offered me support in here when I was going through a very difficult time
Of course now I have worries about it detaching if I make any sudden movements ... but that is another problem for another day and is on my list

Hi Nick - It finally sounds like a plan is working out for you - I hope it goes well - I know what it's like to get rid of a catheter - i was the proud owner of one for over 10 months!!
