Mu husband has stage 4 cancer and recently his PSA levels gave been rising . It went from 43 to 53, then 87, then 115., eight weeks ago. He had a test last week and they said it had come down to 15. Is this really possible in such a short time ?
He was diagnosed nearly eight years ago , had chemo and hormone implants every 12 weeks. The cancer eventually became immune to these , so he’s been having Zytega for about 9 months now, but recently oncology were concerned about the rise in his PSA and suggested further chemo, which he declined. It just seems strange to drop by more than 100 in a matter of weeks
