PSA reading has gone up

Hi, I'm roughly the same but just been diagnosed. PSA 3.6 Gleason (3,4). Have you been on any treatment since July 21

I have not had any treatment as I am on active surveillance.

Its that the PSA has just gone up.  A bit of a worry

The thing is Les,  this is still very low,

You say that you were diagnosed in July 2021, what did the MRI actually show ie tumour size in mm

under 5 mm

Ok, so just carry on with AS at the moment unless they say otherwise.

Mri means more than the PSA, if the size started creeping up then probably time to do something but they would know that.

see what the next PSA is , hopefully may have levelled off, but u can relax for now anyway

Just for info I was on AS for 4 years and in that time my tumour crept up from 3mm to about 13 mm

Thank you Steve . That has put my mind at rest. We will see what my Next PSA  and go from there.
